The Beast (at SAX Design)

As part of a creative experiment at SAX Design, in collaboration with company owner and chef designer, Guido Sax, a design called "The Beast" was created based on the Porsche GT3 RS. The front of the car was covered with PWF film from the limited edition "Atomic Lime" series, of which only 60 rolls were available worldwide. The use of this film for the print, with grunge accents, added to its uniqueness. I developed a unique scale-like texture for the rear and sides of the car. The biggest challenge was finding a texture in the right scale, so I decided to modify and scale an existing texture. Once the canvas was created, the scales were formed to fit the shape of the car's body and then printed onto silver 3M film to achieve the required metallic sheen. The carbon fibre bonnet and roof were left as they were, except for the addition of sponsor integrations. The car was taken to the Most track in the Czech Republic for promotional video shoots. It spent the entire day under the guidance of legendary rally driver Walter Rörhl, taking part in track days under his supervision. The project was created during my employment at SAX Design.
